On The Third Day

with one comment

The Lord spoke from the empty void and mist
And out of nothing came the ancient branch
Primeval trunks and anchoring root
Above the grassy plain and mountain slope
Came fruit and cone and budding leaf
The aged pine and prairie grass
All born old, in a single day of time

The Sands of Time

The sands of time flow from thine everlasting vine

Snow from thy heaven melts,Then; thy fountains rise

From thy deep caverns and secret places, to combine

With all that you have created ; This moment in time
